In 1894, Edosei was established as a butcher shop in Yokohama.
We undertook the design of its new brand identity and the creation of its logo video.

Throughout its 130-year history leading up to 2024, Edosei has been crafting meat products, including the iconic pork buns, tailored to the needs of each era with foresight.

We condensed the core values and vision of Edosei into the phrase “Bringing the delight of Meat and Pork bun to the World," which served as the guiding principle for logo development.

The soft shape of the pork bun serves as the base, with the word "肉" (meat) subtly integrated, expressing the history and integrity of the company in a single stroke.

The motif of the Mizuhiki cord signifies the “knots” it has made with the Yokohama community through its business endeavors, and its Japanese identity foreseeing the global stage.

In the video, our goal was to visually and effectively convey the sentiments within a minute and a half of time.
